Settlement and Pore-water Pressure Induced in a Seminnfinite Transversely Tsotropic Saturated by Fast Moving Traffic Loading
The dynamic loading caused by fast train loading may cause residual displacements or settlements and a decrease in bearing capacity , which may result in damage to structures on soft clay. The prediction and controlling of the settlement and the dissipation of the pore water pressure in sub-grade soft ground, induced by traffic loadings are the key technology for constructing high -quality rail lines. When the train is moving, it not only causes vertical dynamic loading on the sub grade soft ground,but also places horizontal or shear strength upon the ground ;especially when the vehicle has just started ,is speeding up,slowing down or breaking. Therefore,in this paper,a dynamic coupling model of track structure and underlying soft soil ground under dynamic traffic loading was developed. The source of vibration excitation was divided into two components ,the quasi-static loading and the dynamic loading, further divided into one vertical vibration loading source and one horizontal loading. Vertical dynamic loading is also present ,due to dynamic wheel-rail interaction.
