Site Measurement Analysis of Pile Foundation Vibration Induced by Road Traffic

摘要：

This paper is based on the pile foundation design and practice for a special precision in -strument which is extremely sensitive to environmental vibration induced by road traffic in Shanghai soft soil area. In site measurement, organized vehicles are used to simulate the road traffic load. The site vibration measurement are carried out in the stages of natural site ,single pile,five piles,22 piles and about 900 piles respectively. The differences of the vibration responses in the stages are dis -cussed and it proved that the pile foundation is effective in vibration reduction.
