Dynamic Stress of Switch Beam under Maglev Train Loads
Dynamic stress responses of maglev switch beam are calculated based on a dynamic inter -action model between the three -ear maglev train and the five -span switch beam. Numerical results indicate that dynamic stress peaks of the 3rd and 5th midspan section of main girder are approxi -mately equal;they are significantly greater than that of the 1st,2nd and 4th midspan section. Additionally, maximum stress and stress amplitude of the upper point of the ribbed slab are much greater than that of the main girder, so switch design and assessment on strength and fatigue life should pay more attention to the dangerous points of the ribbed slabs. This study also shows that dynamic stress of the switch beam change slightly when the running speed of maglev train increases from 230km/h to 530km/h.
