Study on Inspecting Roadbed Construction Quality Using S-wave Seismic Method
The quick, accurate and direct examination of roadbed project quality is important for evaluating railway project quality. The examination method for the compact quality of filling is decid — ed by the filling materials and the importance of the project. The traditional way is mature and reliable. However, it requires drilling and other equipments ,and has the disadvantages of low speed ,high cost and low efficiency. With the development of engineering exploration technology ,the seismic exploration technology has been applied which uses mature and durable equipment. It has the characteristics of favorable test speed and inspection depth ,high efficiency and low cost. From November 2008, a series of tests were carried out with the technology at the ralway projects and a lot of data was collected. Thus the S-wave seismic method is researched in this paper to detect the roadbed construction quality.
