Parameter Studies of Floating Slab Track on Wheel/rail Rolling Noise Reduction and Vibration Isolation
In order to reduce vibration generation from metro train ,floating slab track is usually used in environment sensitive areas of some urban. But some parameter changes for vibration -isolation give rise to wheel/rail rolling noise varied. A model which could simulate wheel/rail rolling noise and vibration is proposed based on the vehicle -track coupled dynamics theory and the sound radia — tion theory. Parameter matching of floating slab track on wheel/rail rolling noise and vibration isolation had been investigated in frequency and time domain. The results demonstrated that reasonable parameter matching of floating slab track will reduce wheel /rail rolling noise and environment vibra -tion.
