A Study on the Rationality of the Existence of Regional Public Administration
In the era of globalization and information, economic geography has revealed integration, which causes that administering administrative divisions has become more and more mired in governance failure. In that it brought about many problems, such as regionalism, space development disorder, the tragedy of the commons and so on. There emerges, in such circumstances, a new model of governance for public administration, namely, regional public administration. It is able to abandon inadequacies of stereotype and closing in administering administrative divisions, absorbing the core connotation of governance theory, so as to gain wide legitimacy recognition in the innovation practice of the regional governance in China. However, the rationality of regional public administration is still facing challenges of the various terms and theories. Because of this, a comprehensive research on three pillars of the rationality of regional public administration, namely, necessity, feasibility and operability, has become urgent.
