Economic Effects and Government Administration in Heixiazi Island Development
Heixiazi Island lies in the Fuyuan County, SinoRussian border, where is the Heilong River and Wusuli River confluence, and is the polar angle of the northeast, and has important strategic meaning. According to preliminary survey data, the return of Heixiazi Island has attracted many investors interest. This paper argues that protection and development of Heixiazi Island should be of widespread concern based on analyzing spillover effects and long-term significance Heixiazi Island on the northeast regional economy growth. Meanwhile, the paper put forward that to achieve a harmonious and stable development goals, development of Heixiazi Island must be complemented by preferential policies more than other similar regions, so that can increase the degree of opening up, and foster the Heixiazi Island become the pole of economy growth.
