Study on Social Organizations Role in Service-oriented Government Building Process in China
A robust civil society is the basis for the serviceoriented government building, the sound policy environment for service-oriented government construction and meantime, reduces the cost of government transformation. Service-oriented government stresses the positive interaction and cooperation between government and citizen. But such cooperation must rely on the organization of a certain carrier to play a bridge role. The existence of various social organizations, which on behalf of the civil society interests, just solves the high transaction costs problem between government and citizens, makes the mutual cooperation possible. The social organization is also important factor which influences government decision-making and inspiration source which promotes the government reform. Therefore, the exploration of social organization role in process of service-oriented government building is important to further advance of the service-oriented government construction.
