On the Several Stages of Village Political Elite Replacement and the Cultural Influence in China—Taking a Village as an Example

Since the foundation of new government in China, village political elite replacement can be divided into the following several stages: national power dominant stage, rural democratic initiation stage, family cultural renaissance stage and economic genius village management stage. But these arent the ideal mode of legal village management. Therefore, we must explore and perfect the way of villagers autonomy. We must strengthen the legal construction of village committee elections; develop the villagers cultural and recreational organizations for dispelling the village family cultures negative effects; enhance the villagers quality by political socialization; integrate and expand village political resources and continuously improve the ruling ability.
