A Study on Risk Analysis in Chinas Food Safety Management
Risk analysis is the premise and guarantee for food safety management, and its specific functions and actual application manifests itself as indispensable in food safety management, for it is a necessary way to establish a system of food safety management and a compass to help realize the prediction and control of risk in food safety affairs. This paper offers a structural system for food safety risk analysis, probes into the existing problems confronting China in food safety risk analysis and then suggestions are made on how to successfully and effectively make an ideal risk analysis in todays China. It is also pointed that food safety risk analysis in China is still at its initial stage and its practice must be combine with the current Chinese context,; meanwhile the economic, social, cultural and ethic factors in Chinas transitional period have to be taken into account in the field of food safety management in terms of risk analysis.
