An Analysis of Mass Incidents in Chinas Border Ethnic Regions:From Psychological, Legal and Developmental Perspective
In recent years, mass incidents have happened repeatedly in Chinas border ethnic regions, becoming a significant but unacknowledged danger affecting the stability and social security of these regions. It is not just sufficient to handle these situations as they arise; it is important to understand the factors that are underlie the eruption of these problems. This article attempts to analyze mass incidents from three primary perspectives-the psychological imbalance and lack of national identity, the establishment of legal awareness and social norms, and the development awareness for defusing mass incidents in border ethnic regions. It also combines the current social situation and some typical cases happened in border ethnic regions, trying to have a comprehensive, in-depth, multi-angles survey on the mass incidents in Chinas border ethnic regions.
