Influential Factors Analysis and Index Calculation of Service Intra-industry Trade in China
This paper calculates the G-L index of service intraindustry trade in China and it also analyzes some factors impacting the Chinas service intra-industry trade, such as the scale of service, service trade openness, the unit GDP energy consumption. The empirical study shows that the scale of service and the openness of trade in service can affect service intra-industry trade in China positively, while the energy consumption per unit of GDP can affect it negatively. The cointegration test indicates that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship among the variables, the short-term differences can be adjusted by the converse adjustment mechanism. Granger causality test shows that the scale of service, the openness of trade in service and the reduction of unit GDP energy consumption can all cause the changes of service intra-industry trade, and they are the single-direction causes, which further confirms the results of co-integration test.
