Literature Review on Vocational Qualification System

Vocational Qualification System aims to grade the employees abilities, skills and knowledge etc. In usual, the Vocational Qualification Criterions are used to standardize recruitment and cultivation of employees, to establish employees career development and to provide grounds for employees sustainable learning, promotion, compensation and other human resources activities. Therefore, Vocational Qualification System is not only taken account as a key job of human resources management, but also an impassable and crucial section or procedure for human resources management in both of the public and private organizations. As author strongly stresses the importance of research on Vocational Qualification System, this paper especially focuses on the relevant literatures both in China and outside of China to clarify its definition and connotation, to figure out the confuses between Vocational Qualification System & Vocational Qualification as well as Vocational Qualification System & Competence Model, to profoundly expose the designing, influential factors and utilizing of Vocational Qualification system.
