On Provincial Fiscal and Tax Policies of Narrowing Income Gap in Zhejiang, China
Expansion of the income gap between residents continuously and extensively has become the main trend of Chinas income distribution structure. At the end of 2010, research center of Scientific Socialism Research Institute of Zhejiang province released a report about income distribution problem of urban and rural residents in Zhejiang province, which shows that 20% of high income groups mean individual annual income is more than 15,000yuan, but 20% of low income groups is only less than 10,000yuan, the former groups income is 17 times of the latter group and indicates that the income gap between residents has become larger and larger. The cause of big income gap between different residents will be analyzed in depth in this paper and fiscal and tax policies will be proposed in accordance with the causes aiming at narrowing the income gap between residents in Zhejiang province.
