Impartiality of Public Health: Unfinished Government Promise on the Death Case of a Pregnant Woman

Seen from the death accident of a pregnant woman, and the reality and the reform of healthcare in urban China as background, this paper tries to foresee problems in advance, which include the equality of healthcare, individual tribulation and the burden of governmental responsibility. Meanwhile, this essay is based on the probable system defect or crisis reflected by the individual tribulation, which means the weakening of governmental responsibility to the healthcare service supply and overage marketing lead to unfairness in huge range. The governmental promise about the equality of healthcare cant come true without specific system supporting; however, the promise is significant to the social development and citizen welfare.
