The Empirical Study on Trust Degree and the Main Influential Factors of Citizens to Metropolitan Government—Taking Chengdu as an Example
Based on the investigating to the citizens from various classes in five districts of Jinniu, Wuhou, Jinjiang, Chenghua and Qingyang, this paper analyzes the main factors which influence citizens on trusting to the metropolitan government. Through research on the 31 indexes which are included in the six dimension systems of administrative level, government service, ecology and environment, public safety, employment and democracy construction, the result is 0.455 which shows that the trust degree is not satisfaction. Finally, the paper analyzes the most obvious indexes which influence the citizens trust to the government, including the transparency of policy and the government behaviors, the qualities and their work efficiency of the civil servants as well as the construction of indemnificatory housing.
