The Empirical Research of 2010 Annual Guangdong, China Public Happiness Index

摘要：

Happiness index is an important index that can measure the harmonious development of the society. This article defines happiness as subjective aspects, use 9 indicators including happiness and satisfaction indicators to measure the happiness index of the Guangdong public ,and analyzes the main characteristics. The result is: the mean of happiness index of 2010 annual Guangdong public is 60.79, and the happiness is 69.38, the satisfaction is just 52.21; the level of economic development and the income of the public have a certain influence on the happiness index; the public background has great influence on happiness grading, however, less effect on satisfaction grading.
