Lao Zi Thought and the Future Mode of Public Administration in China
With the deepening of Chinas economic transformation, the difficulties and conflicts of public administration is also increasing. In order to resolve these contradictions, Chinese public administration model needs to change. To a certain extent, Lao Zi thought influences and reclaims, educates and forges the characters, behaviors, morals and values of Chinese. Though it composed with two thousand years ago, and the farming community is its fundamental, Lao Zi thought still reflects some basic principles of public administration, especially it is a reflection on the political power from a philosophical perspective, therefore, it still provides some valuable information for us building the future mode of public administration. Many thoughts in The Book of Tao and Teh are well-springs of ideas for building public service-typed government.
