Researches for restoring publics trust in government are at the core of government modernization. The purpose of this study is to explore the key factors affecting trust in government from the behavioral perspectives of public. A theoretical model for the empirical examination of the publics satisfaction and trust of public service is proposed. The data used in this analysis are taken from a broad mass online survey. Using Partial Least Squares approach, a highly statistically significant goodness-of-fit is found for the model. The main findings are first, that public who are satisfied with specific public services generally have a higher level of trust in government than public who are dissatisfied. Second, trust in government is also influenced by performance of public service.
