Enlightenments from Overseas Experiences of Resettlement of Demobilized Officers to Ex-servicemen Resettlement in China
Resettlement of demobilized officers is an essential matter that concerns not only benefits of demobilized officers and the stability of army, but also the peaceful development of society. This paper will conduct a series of researches on typical countries with relevant systems and through the overview of the resettlement measures in these countries and their experience and lessons, endeavors to give strategic instructions to the reform and improvement of Chinas ex-servicemen resettlement system on the basis of Chinas basic condition. The enlightenments of overseas experience in resettlement of demobilized officers are as follows, in order to improve the present system, attention should be paid to Chinas national and military conditions; treatment after demobilization and relevant supportive job-seeking measures should be improved; training system of army, government and society should be completed; settling institutions and management system should be perfected; and relevant strategies and policies should be well improved.
