The Value Orientation of Contemporary Service-oriented Government Based on the Perspective of New Public Service Theory
Building service-oriented government is the complicated system engineering, and the most fundamental thing is to seize on the connotation of the value orientation of service-oriented government. The development of the new public service theory provides the contemporary service-oriented government with theory guidance. Based on the perspective of the new public service theory, this paper tries to analyze the contemporary service-oriented government value orientation through the following aspects of maintaining public interest, strengthening the awareness of responsibility, highlighting the spirit of service, advocating public government affairs and paying attention to administrative ethics to have the clear construction goal and direction, and explore the ways of cultivating public interest belief, enhancing government responsibility, transiting government functions, establishing service concept, enhancing the ability of government response, expanding civil participation and strengthening ethical construction in order to realize service-oriented government value orientation, aiming at provide some theory reference and practical service for building service-oriented government.
