The Relationship between Government Public Services Delivery and Public Confidence in Government-An Empirical Analysis of Zhejiang Province
Public confidence in government, a symbol representing the governments influence and appeal, relates to the development of social stability, deepening of economic restructuring and advancement of political system reform. With current trend to build a service-oriented government, as well as more cases occurring on crisis of government confidence, the public are surely to express their despair, dissatisfaction and distrust on the government if the governments public products and services can not meet their needs of vital interests or expectations. The Article, with ACSI model and public services available in Zhejiang province, demonstrates through 348 effective samples relations of 4 factors on public services delivery satisfaction, ie. Services delivery-based impartiality satisfaction, Services delivery-based efficiency satisfaction, Services delivery-based effect satisfaction and Services delivery-based economy satisfaction, with 2 factors on the governments public confidence, ie. Honesty and credibility and Legal compliance, and consequently raising proposals on improvement of governments public confidence through enhanced delivery of public services.
