Urban Aging Community Building Problems, Causes and Countermeasures: A Case Study of Beibei District, Chongqing, China
The increase of aging population has already become the core issue for the government and society in China. While community is the major residence for aging population, the management for aging community should be emphasized in this situation. This paper just focuses on this problem. In order to conclude the difficulties the aging community meets, we selected three typical aging communities, and adopted sociological methods to discuss the situation of them, such as questionnaires, interview, etc. After the analysis, the gap between community residents needs and the community public service supply will be examined. So, the paper will define the problems of aging community meets on the process of aging, analyze the reasons for these problems, and finally conclude some countermeasures to satisfy the demands, at the same time, increase the harmony of the whole society.
