Discussion on Occurrence Mechanism and Elimination Approach for Mass Incidents in Border Ethnic Minority Regions

With complicated causes and nature, mass incidents in the border ethnic minority regions of China are difficult to be handled and settled. The main causes for mass incidents in border ethnic minority regions include the interest differentiation and impairment under the background of social system transformation with unbalanced regional development, the unsound national governance system and the lagging of various policy guarantees and system innovations after vigorous social reform, economic reform and political reform. In order to eliminate mass incidents in border ethnic minority regions, an effective approach is to provide appropriate political and legal procedures to guarantee the reasonable appeals of various interest parties and to control each sector of mass incidents effectively by scientifically using the theory of psychology.
