Responsibility: What can the Chinese Government Undertake in Food Safety
Food safety is the biggest engineering of peoples livelihood. To build a responsible government is one of the Chinese governments aims, guarantee food safety is an inevitable content of a responsible government who are trying to improve her peoples livelihood. This paper defines the connotation of Food Safety and Responsible Government, clarifies the inevitability of a responsible government to undertake the responsibility of food safety issue. From a view of Responsible Government, this paper also analyses the present situation of the food safety field: the short of responsibility concept, the deficiency of responsibility support, and the weak of responsibility investigation. At last, it puts forward some suggestions to the responsible government through in-depth theoretical arguments: inputting responsibility concept, consummating responsibility support, implementing responsibility investigation.
