The Research on the Driving Forces of Ecological Development of Resource-Based Enterprises
Owing to the special natural resources, many enterprises that located in the upstream of industrial chain, make use of resources with a high intensity and produce as well as primarily process based on the abundant natural resources and high energy consumption. This is called the resource-based enterprises. The extensive mode of growth, disorderly development status severely overdraw the natural resources and living environment, making the sort of enterprises facing with the threaten of resources exhaustion. However, these enterprises are the main part of the local economic development and play a crucial role in the sustainable development. Our country is in the mid of industrialization. Within the traditional development path, there are some problems in the resource-based enterprises, such as focus on market instead of ecology, pursuing the maximum of profit at the cost of ecological conditions. The features are high consumption, high pollution but low efficiency and diseconomy. Starting with some theories like stakeholders and regarding the resource-based enterprises as the research target, this article proposes the importance and essence of ecological development of these enterprises and explore into the driving forces of promoting the development.
