340-Year Sustainable Strategic Development: A Case Study on Beijing Tongrentang Group Co., Ltd
How can a company continue its glory for 340 years and grow stronger in the fierce global competition? Beijing Tongrentang Group Co., Ltd. (TRT Group), a largest Chinese traditional medicine company in China, tells us a story about an old Chinese enterprises sustainable development over 340 years. Through in-depth interviews and investigation in the company, we explored and examined the key points and experiences of Beijing TRTs sustainable strategic management practice. We proposed a framework summarizing TRTs sustainable strategic management process. TRTs experience is deeply rooted in Chinese traditional culture. We believe it would provide enlightening implication theoretically and practically.
