The Study of Strategy for Development of Organic Food Industry in Xinjiang Based on Resource Allocation Theory

The issue of food safety has become the focus of public concern due to the increasing threat of foodborne illness to peoples health and social stability. The potential market of organic food is so big that it is advisable to develop the organic food industry to improve the efficient allocation of resource on the food industry chain, thus making it possible for the present resource to create more value on the value chain for interest-concerned groups. The area of Xinjiang possesses the comparative advantage of developing organic food industry due to its favorable aspects such as natural resource, planting scale of forest and fruit. Organic food industry will be new economic growth point and create more value for interest-concerned groups on the value chain.
