This article begins at the background of the mergerrelated automotive industry. It contains some sides like: the acquisition of an overview, process, results, revelation of mergers and acquisition and so on. This completely analyzes the most generous acquisition of overseas assets in Chinese cars industry at present-Geely holding Groups acquisition of Volvo Car Corporation. In the final, this article gives some comments on the case objectively and fairly. It causes attention to the sides of cultural friction, technology gap, management concepts, methods and so on after the acquisition.
