Consumption Shift in General Digital Products: A Game Theoretic Analysis
Due to network externalities and consumption lock-in, group consumption has featured general digital products consumption. Consumption shift needs collective collaboration. Static game theoretic analysis shows that excess inertia and excess conflict have equal probability in general digital products consumption shift. However, dynamic analysis reflects that there is obvious excess inertia in general digital products consumption shift. And the reason is that information jam brings more ventures to first-movers than followers.
