The Effects of Organizational Climate on Work Alienation and Organizational Identification
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of organizational climate on work alienation and organizational identification. The analysis results of 254 valid samples of 36 sectors in 11 companies from Chongqing, Chengdu, Shenzhen and Guangzhou city showed that: (1) There is a significantly negative relationship between positive organizational climate and work alienation. The different dimensions of organizational climate predict negatively work alienation to a certain extent. (2) There is a significantly positive relationship between positive organizational climate and organizational identification. Organizational climate positively affects organizational identification mainly through interpersonal communication, while main effects of organizational material resource and risk tolerance are not significant. (3) There is a significantly negative relationship between organization identification and work alienation. Improvement of organization identification reduces work alienation.
