A Research on the Evolution and Verification of Servant Leadership Model
Servant leadership has become a hot topic in the area of leadership and management in recent years. The servant leadership model was developed by Kathleen A. Patterson in 2003, the scholastic field is keeping a watchful eye on this theoretical model and research of this model continues. This conceptual paper analyses the initial model of servant leadership and explores the evolutionary process of the servant leadership model, and also traces verifications of the servant leadership model, revealing many meaningful finding that should be of interest to enterprise leaders and researchers. Finally, some recommendations for future research on servant leadership in the Chinese context are discussed.
