Review on University Press Administration after Restructuring

摘要：

This paper makes a comparison of the administrative situation of Chinese university presses before and after their restructuring. In combination with Chinas requirements for the industrialization of the publishing sector, and the development of law-based publication administration, this paper sorts out and analyzes four means adopted in Chinas publication administration. With respect to actual situations of university presses, and based on modern enterprise system and the reality faced by university presses, this paper proposes that restructured university presses should, on the premise of a supervisor-based responsibility system, attach importance to the selection of enterprise leaders, standardize administration, observe the market rules, enhance copyright management and establish a rational administrative structure.
