Organizational Socialization I actics and Self-efficacy Influence on Employees Socialization Outcomes -Supportive Leadership Style as a Moderator
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between organizational socialization tactics, employees self-efficacy and socialization outcomes. Based on a sample of 217, the results indicated that employees self-efficacy and organizational socialization tactics were positively related to organizational socialization content and job satisfaction. The results also indicated that organizational socialization content partially mediated the relationship between organizational socialization tactics and job satisfaction, and partially mediated the relationship between selfefficacy and job satisfaction. Furthermore, supportive leadership style moderated the relationship between organizational socialization tactics and job satisfaction, and also moderated the relationship between self-efficacy and job satisfaction. Organizational socialization content was positively related to job satisfaction, and was negatively related to intentions to quit.
