Study on the Relationship between Safety Climate and Safety Behaviors Based on Structural Equation Model
Organizational safety climate is one of the most important factors to influence employees safety behavior, domestic research on their relation is in qualitative phase now. Basing on literature review, paper first analysis the relative research content including basic connotation, mostly research method and research guide, then probing into the influence mechanism to safety behavior. The scale containing four sections is constructed according to Cheyenes research result to measure one State-owned coal enterprises safety climate and its employees safety behavior. The scale analyzed by reliability analysis, validity analysis shows its stability and reliability, getting safety climates two-dimension model through Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis and then obtaining quantitative relational model adopting Structural Equation Model to test the hypothetical theory model. Data analysis results show that one dimension of safety climate significantly positively direct influences safety behavior and significantly positively indirect influences safety behavior through mediator variable, which demonstrates the effect between organizational safety climate and employees safety behavior.
