Study on the Statistical Method of Direct Economic Losses from Work Safety Accidents
The direct economic losses from work safety accidents are the important quantized standard of accidents damage. However, the standard of direct economic losses is not suitable for the situation of China any more. The statistical standard should be revised based on defining the range of direct economic losses reasonably, perfecting statistical items and calculation method. It is considered that the exploration, bringing the insurance compensation to direct economic losses statistics, is meaningful, but cant meet the requirements at the present in China. The thought can be brought for reference, which the statistical items are designed according to. The statistical items for cost of casualties are designed according to Regulation on Work-Related Injury Insurances, and modified the calculation method integrating with practice; the fixed asset losses are calculated based on the total cost for re-purchasing, depreciation method and the rate of residual value adopted by the enterprise; the cost of disposal after accidents, within the limit of property losses or casualties of emergency rescue troop caused by the accident, is calculated according to the cost of casualties and the value of asset damage. The new method of direct economic losses, being more exercisable, has the practical significance and important referenced value.
