Development of Measurement Tool on Enterprise Safety Climate
Based on the theory and practical investigation, a prediction questionnaire on safety climate is compiled. 125 employees from several chemistry enterprises were randomly sampled as subjects. Factor analysis was carried out on those received questionnaires; a factor structure and a formal scale were acquired. After being confirmed, this safety climate scale proved to be valid and reliable, as well as with an excellent practical value. Additionally, it is different from job experience, working department and accident involvement, which has a good dis-criminable validity. Development of this measurement tool makes self-measurement of enterprise safety climate come true. Then the obstacles on spreading safety culture in China can be cleared away.
