Problems and Countermeasures in Safety Management in Small- and Medium-Sized Hazardous Chemical Enterprises
Production safety situation of hazardous chemical enterprise is severe in China recent years. As the small and medium-sized enterprises had become the basic element of national economy, all kinds of accidents and occupational danger also happened frequently in SHCE (small and medium-sized hazardous chemical enterprises). A series of omnibus survey of production safety situation were conducted in 18 SHCEs in a county of Zhejiang province. The current safety situation of SHCEs was summarized and systematically analyzed from safety input, safety awareness, safety training, safety devices, safety supervision, and emergency rescue. The main problems and causes of safety management in SHCEs were also discussed, and some measures were proposed to improve production safety and decrease accident losses in SHCEs, such as strengthening standardized management, enhancing safety awareness of staff, eliminating backward productive forces, and raising emergency rescue capabilities.
