Rethinking Over Safety Behavior Management in Construction Projects

Characterized by uniqueness, mobility and collaboration-intensive, the construction industry faces severe challenges of workplace fatalities and accidents. It is well known that accidents in construction projects have a significantly positive correlation with peoples improper behavior. This paper conducts a systematic analysis of safety behavior in terms of enterprise manager, project manager, security engineers, foreman and workers. A safety behavior management model in constructing projects is developed, and the corresponding counter measures and suggestions about safety behavior management are proposed.
