Study on Quantitative Risk Assessment Model of Hazardous Chemicals Leakage and Application
Hazardous chemicals leakage accidents have caused serious casualties and property loss, having serious adverse effects upon social stability. The paper analyzed main derivated accidents caused by hazardous chemicals leakage and established corresponding quantitative risk assessment models. The risk assessment model concluded risk identification, probability calculation and loss calculation. The paper applied this model to quantitatively assessing an enterprises storage tank at Changshou Chemical Industrial Distripark (CID) in Chongqing in China, and made an acceptable risk level research. It is shown that the probability of poisoning is very large, causing more economic loss than the other two types of accidents. Furthermore, the risk level of leakage accident involving poisoning is unacceptable.
