Safety Evaluation Research on Saindak Open Pit Mine Slope

28 indices were chosen from 5 aspects, the slope rock quality, slope morphology, human factors, slope safety management and other factors, and the rock slope safety index system of open pit mine was established. Based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the weight of every indicator was determined by use of the analytical hierarchy process and Matlab program. Using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation compounded index system, the synthetic security fuzzy evaluation model was established, and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was done for the specific situation of Saindak open pit mine. Results show that: rock slope of Saindak open pit mine is relatively safe, which can reflect the actual situations of the rock slope and indicate that the model evaluation methods are reasonable and results are reliable.
