Preparation and Properties of Porous Copper/ Sodium Perchlorate Composite

In this paper, the thermal property of porous copper/sodium perchlorate composite was researched. Porous copper was produced by electrodeposition method and the composite was produced by dripping saturated NaClO4 acetone solution on porous copper. They were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectrometer (EDS), X-Ray Diffraction(XRD). The results showed that the composite held 3-D structure. The thermal property of the composite was also tested by Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC). The result shown that the composite was energetic in nature and its exothermic peak was at 402.09℃.
