Design and Calibration of New Compression Stress Sensor of Propellant Charge
The test to compression process and compression stress of the propellant charge near projectile base is the key problem in the study of launch safety of propellant charge. The cheap and reliable new compression stress sensor of propellant charge was designed based on PVDF piezoelectric film. The new compression stress sensor was calibrated by using the experiment instrument of dynamic compression and fracture of the propellant charge. The results of the calibration experiment show that the new sensor has good performance. The compression stress of propellant charge was tested by using the new sensor, and the result shown that the new sensor can be used to test compression stress. The sensor provided a new test device to study the launch safety of propellant charge.
