Investigation on Fabrication and Properties of Ni-Cr Thin Film Ignitor
In order to meet the applications in micro initiation explosive device and micro ignition of micropropulsion systems, the Ni-Cr thin film ignitors of different film thickness and bridge width were fabricated based on MEMS technics.Then, the resistence, IV curve and direct current firing sensitivity of the ignitior were test. The testing result shows that the resistance of the ignitor diminishes as the size of bridge width and film thickness increase.The direct current firing sensitivity of the ignitor diminishes as bridge width decreases, and the direct current firing sensitivity of the ignitor has a diminishable trend as the film thickness increases.
