Research Method for Dynamic Fracture Performance of Propellant Charge
Fracture performance of propellant charge under corresponding launch condition could directly impact launch safety of artillery; a testing method for examining fracture performance of propellant charge under dynamic compression was introduced in this paper. The dynamic compression fracture device was used to simulate the mechanics circumstance of propellant charge near the projectile base during launch course, and the fracture propellant charge was also obtained. The initial dynamic vivacity ratio of fracture propellant charge was also determined by dynamic vivacity test to describe the fracture degree of propellant charge. This paper provided an applied method for studying the fracture performance of propellant charge under dynamic compression.
