Dissolution Properties of N , N -di(2,4,6,-trinitrophenyl)amino-Guanidine in N -methl-2-pyrrolidone and Dimethyl Sulfoxide

Abatract:The enthalpies of dissolution for N ,N -di(2,4,6,-trinitrophenyl)amino-Guanidine(DTAG)in N -methl-2-pyrrolidone(NMP)and dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO)were measured using a RD496-2000 Calvet microcalorimeter at 298.15 K under atmospheric pressure.Empirical formulae for the calculation of the enthalpies of dissolution (Δdiss H)were obtained from the experimental data of the dissolution processes of DTAG in NMP and DMSO.Furthermore,the corresponding kinetic equations describing the two dissolution processes were dα/dt=10-2.50(1-α)0.92 for the dissolution of DTAG in NMP,and dα/dt=10-2.52(1-α)0.93 for the dissolution of DTAG in DMSO,respectively.
