Application of Micropores Propellant to Launch Charging for Firework
In order to probe into possibility that the micropores smokeless propellant substitute for black powder on ground level fireworks, influences of the charging structures and charging conditions on bullet initial velocity and other launching effects were studied. The main conclusions are as follows: the problem of propellant residue could be resolved by improving the charging structure. By increasing charging mass, enhancing flame spread speed or cutting down particle size, the bullet initial velocity could be remarkably enhanced. The mass of micropores smokeless propellant charging is not more than one-third to black powder charging at same bullet initial velocity. The sound level of MSPC is similar to BPC. The muzzle flash illuminance level of MSPC is weaker than BPC. The relative smog concentration of MSPC is lower than BPC by more than 85%. Its possible that the micropores smokeless propellant substitute for black powder.
