Influence of Humidity on Burning Perfectibility of Two Kinds of Combustible Cartridge Cases
Studied the hygroscopic properties of two kinds of combustible cartridge cases by weighing method. Investigated residue formation of wall materials with different water content by nitrogen-bomb tests. The results show that the higher the relative humidity is, the greater the equilibrium moisture content and combustion remains of the two kinds of cartridge materials are. These results may provide a basis for the storage performance improvement of combustible cartridges.
