ANALYSIS OF ORGANIZATIONAL KM READINESS USING INTENTION TO BE INVOLVED WITH KM SECI PROCESS

This study seeks to assess organizational KM readiness of the Sri Lankan telecommunication industry using the SECI processes of socialisation, externalisation, combination, and internalisation as dependent variables. In achieving the objective, efforts are needed in ensuring that the measurement model used is valid and reliable. Therefore, the focus of this research is to analyze and develop a measurement model for the SECI processes using a survey data collected from 313 executives working in the selected organizations in the Sri Lankan Telecommunication Industry. Based on the revised model the measurements for the three SECI processes variable were confirmed, revised and validated. Accordingly the result of the analysis can be expected to be use as independent variable measures in the assessment of KM readiness for the Sri Lankan Telecommunication industry. In addition, this research also contributes significantly in enhancing future work in KM processes and readiness and in the measurement and evaluation of KM readiness in many organizations at large.
