Regional Economic Cooperation for Competitiveness: Spatial Layout of Dual-core City Agglomeration in Liaoning
To enhance the economic strength of the whole region, break administrative barriers is an inevitable requirement, which can form a unified market, regional cooperation and division of labor, and then to keep close contact and cooperation of economic. On the basis of theoretical explanation of integration of resources and regional integration, the analysis is mainly done by means of introducing the cost of money and time to revise the traditional gravitational models of cities with the aim of finding to what extent Shenyang and Dalian can stimulate the resources and make a joint development. It can be demonstrated from the conclusion that the two pole city are adjacent to their radiate boundary, which can play a significant role in the construction of Liaonings dual-core city agglomeration as well as the competition and cooperation for the whole regional economy.
